UMBERTO FIORE BARBERA D’ ASTI

Best-known for its starring role in Piedmont’s Barbera d’Alba and Barbera d’Asti wines, Barbera is a northern Italian grape producing fresh, light-bodied red wines with low tannins. Barbera d’Asti can appear in various styles. The lighter less expensive styles are more in line with the variety’s traditional role as a workhorse variety and are fresh, fruity, and unoaked.
